How to Program Nissan Intelligent Key

The Nissan Intelligent Key allows you to lock and unlock the doors of your Nissan remotely. Nissan Intelligent Key Programming Instructions

In order to set up your Nissan Intelligent Key, Cantonment and Pace drivers will need to follow these steps:

  1. When Nissan Intelligent Key programming, you’ll first need to get into the car with your key and then lock the doors.
  2. Insert the key in your ignition. That said, don’t start the car. You’ll want to insert and remove your key from the ignition 6 to 10 times. When your vehicle finally accepts your key, the hazard light will flash twice.
  3. Once your hazards have flashed, you’re in program mode. Insert the key into the ignition again and turn it in order to activate. Don’t turn it so far as to start the car.
  4. Press any buttons on the key. You’ll need to do this quickly in order to be effective.
  5. Finally, drivers will need to perform a test at distance and close in proximity. Stand 15 feet away from your vehicle and attempt to unlock your vehicle remotely. The light should flash and the horn should beep. Then repeat these tests at a distance of 5 feet.
